For those of you who know what these abbreviations will be, I have compiled a list of terms used for what it is and, of course, what really does it for you or avoid.
Abbreviations General.
Before getting to the nitty gritty of why they are all different, we see the similarities. There are three common terms to its objectives, and these are easy to understand, describe and relate only to get the most creative and powerful features.
Focal length: -The scope of the scene captured, for example, 16-35mm. A goal that extends over an area of 16mm (relatively large) to reduce by 35 mm.
Maximum aperture: - The maximum rate at which the lens can let in light. eg f3.5 or 2.8 - 5.6
If your goal is just a number, so that as open as possible.
If the lens has two numbers are as open as possible and then adjusted depending on the lens focal length is.
The lower the number the larger the aperture andfaster in the light. (See my forthcoming article on the law of reciprocity)
